Loved our captain's balcony room. It had everything we would like in a hotel room with a balcony with a lovely view of the city & Burj Khalifa. As we were booked on half board basis, breakfast and dinner were included. Really enjoyed all the vegetarian choices for breakfast and dinner. Loved the Lido dining room and it's staff. Special mention to Vimellsa who was very welcoming and friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Service through out the hotel was excellent from reception to room cleaning staff to restaurant and bar staff. However the alcohol prices in bars were very expensive. The happy hour from 4 to 8pm should include draught beers too. Moreover the happy hour should be extended to dining room and other bars too. The hotel does need maintenance especially in outdoor areas. Also some of the indoor areas could be better used. Swimming pool in one of the lower decks was difficult to access and there were no chairs or beds to rest before/after a swim. I only visited once. Would have preferred a pool on the outer decks. Location was great. Only 10 to 12min walk to the Al Ghubaiba metro station and around 15min walk to the souks and creek area. Loved the Al Seef area too which was around 20min walk from the hotel. We would definitely love to visit this hotel again on one of our future visits to Dubai.

It’s a pleasure to step aboard this legendary vessel it feels like a journey back in time, and I’m so pleased the rich history of this British icon has been preserved and saved. Well done all concerned. Love the thearter and the team behind it are putting on amazing acts and shows they are doing an amazing job, surly your biggest asset? Also, the staff and customer service throughout the ship, is amazing, world class. Well done with your recruitment and training. I also love the antique décor, and nostalgia and old-world charm. I would suggest a lot more of the antique décor, and nostalgia, let this theme run though out the ship especially in the cabins. The modern paintings and art feels somewhat forced and out of place. For example, why have modern paintings in cabins It seems pointless trying to make it new. I would suggest old posters, photographs and objects in all the cabins. Also do we really need a TV I know it’s standard, in hotel rooms but it seems so out of place. Or if we do need a to let’s have a looped documentary of the ships story. On the whole, this is an amazing experience and extremely reasonable compared with other hotels in Dubai, but keep it old, don’t make it modern more more nostalgia, please.

I had an exceptional stay onboard the QE2. The staff were wondering and really went above and beyond to make my stay special. A huge 'thank you' to Om Prakash who was exceptional at making up my room daily and was so friendly. My room was spotless every time he left and he even provided me with extra filtered water daily after I requested it. Another mention goes to Anju Surendran in reservations who helped me out with booking the heritage tour with Brendan Clarke (a must for those ocean liner enthusiasts), late check out and other questions I had. The staff onboard offered such personal service and knew what room I was in and even had a pot of tea ready for me in the mornings during breakfast - without any prompt. You truly were made to feel special and I'll definitely return. Thank you QE2 team!

If you want to experience an amazing hotel that is stunning in every detail, go to this hotel. the staff is amazing, helpful and smiling. I stayed for 4 days, everything was great, clean, organised, calm, quiet. the room size is fair enough. the breakfast is various. it is an experience you wouldnt want to miss. the history is here, and you feel the connection to the history of the ship. also, things are new, not old, no wear and tear except the authentic that must be. hot water is good, free water coffee and tea everyday. many elevators.

I had a great 8-day stay at this hotel in Dubai. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, and the staff was exceptionally polite and accommodating. Housekeeping did a fantastic job, ensuring everything was clean and comfortable throughout my stay. I also appreciated the complimentary daily coffee and tea-making facilities in the room, which was a nice touch. Plus, the free WiFi was reliable and convenient. Overall, a wonderful experience!
